This is an important green space in Widcombe & Lyncombe and is a link from the city to the countryside. Since the beginning of September, the land has been managed under licence by the Friends of Lyncombe Hill Fields, a newly formed not-for-profit Community Interest Company (FLHF CIC). It is a community supported initiative and has the backing of four local residents associations plus a community group. It was launched on the 19th of October last year and much work has been completed already.
In this informative talk we will hear about their plans for the fields future and also some interesting history.
