Join Lucy and Tony for a cycle ride to Warmley waiting Room café - 20 miles.

The Bath Ales 'tap room' is closed for the time being, so we are cycling to the wonderful 'Warmley Waiting Room Cafe' instead, which is housed in the original waiting room of the old Warmley Station. The ride is out and back on the Bristol to Bath cycle path, around 20 miles in total and entirely on the flat. We'll have a short break at Bitton Station on the way out to see one of the Avon Valley Railway steam trains in action. The Warmley cafe serves homemade cakes, sandwiches and ice creams and there is plenty of outdoor seating space. Leaving Widcombe at 10am and cycling at a gentle pace, we will be in Bitton in plenty of time to see the 11.00am steam train departure and at the Warmley Waiting Room Cafe by 11.30am. We estimate being back in Widcombe by 2pm

Meeting point: under the tree at the western end of Widcombe Parade. In the case of bad weather, please see our website for last minute changes.

Cyclists MUST register for this event. Numbers will be limited. Registration will be open a few weeks before the event.
