Image of the old Cleveland Pools

Britain's oldest lido dating back over 200 years, is re-opening next month and we are delighted we have secured a private tour of the newly renovated site. After an 18 year campaign to save the Pools a National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) £6.8 million grant was awarded to help bring this wonderful heritage site back into community use.

We will learn about its colourful history including spectacular events organised with the help of a pet baboon!

The entrance to the Pools is between two houses on Hampton Row. The path is quite narrow and leads to a very steep slope. Light is low in this area. Inside there is a steep slope from the entrance gate

Please note: There is no parking on site.
