Another fascinating history of Widcombe talk and walk from Dan Lyons. ‘Widcombe and Queen Victoria’s Wars’ looks at the sites and some of the interesting characters who had connections with Widcombe and were associated with 19th century conflicts including the Crimean War, the Boer War and the Indian Mutiny.
The walk will last approximately 1.5 hours and will not be strenuous.
