The American Museum holds a remarkable and stunning collection of quilts. At this event the Textile Team will take us through this rare collection bringing to life the history and craft of quilt making in America and telling the stories of how these quilts were made and by whom.
The ticket entitles you to attend the ‘Curious about Quilts' talk and also to spend as long as you like in the American Museum and Gardens. The gardens, with their sweeping views of the Limpley Stoke Valley, are open from 10am-5pm.
The American themed museum deli is open all day and is reasonably priced. Last orders are at 4.00pm and it closes at 4.30pm
Assemble at 1:45 at the ticket entrance.
