Crowe Hall, Widcombe Hill

12 June 2022

2:30 pm

David and Fiona Less have kindly given the WA permission to host a Prosecco cream tea in the magnificent grounds of Crowe Hall.  The gardens have been extensively renovated and planted up by David.

The gardens were originally designed  in the 19th to early 20th century in formal villa style, which included works undertaken by William Carmichael for Henry Tugwell (mid 1870s).  They cover approximately three hectares, and were developed on a hillside site in the 19th and 20th centuries.

There are steps to negotiate throughout the garden but the tea terrace is accessible on the flat from the side of the house.
