As part of the Heritage Open Days, a number of cemeteries in Widcombe are open to the public on Sunday September 10th. The Widcombe Association History group has created a downloadable document with some fascinating historical background to enhance a self guided walk around five cemeteries of local interest. If you make St Thomas a Becket church in Church Lane your final stop you can reward yourself with delicious tea and cakes (3.00-5.00pm). All proceeds will go towards the significant costs of maintaining this beautiful building.
