Hustings: Monday 15th April at 19:30, venue details to be confirmed

Police and Crime Commissioners are responsible for holding the Chief Constable and police force to account on the public’s behalf. They oversee how crime is tackled in their area and aim to make sure that the police are providing a good service.

The elections will happen in the Avon and Somerset Police Area on Thursday 2 May 2024. Each area will elect one Police and Crime Commissioner. The Police and Crime Commissioner elected in May will serve for four years.

FoBRA is organising this hustings and has invited the declared candidates to attend.  This will be our opportunity to question the candidates about their priorities for Bath and to relay this to RA members to inform their votes.

We would appreciate advance notice of any questions you would like to ask.  Please either record your question on the form when booking or email by 12th April to me, Jeremy Boss, at [email protected]

Sadly PCC's have been subject to threats and we need to take security seriously.  Therefore, we require attendees to book in advance and we will send you an email on the 14th April which will inform you of the detailed event location.  It is within walking distance of central Bath/ stations and parking will available within a fairly short walk. Refreshments will be available to purchase.
