Eco Together brings together small groups of neighbours, friends or colleagues for five friendly structured sessions to explore how each person can best make a positive impact. The group members run the sessions and no costs are involved. We use a well-researched handbook shown to bring tangible results and each person decides upon their own changes or activities. One of the biggest benefits is simply being part of a group, getting to know your friends or neighbours better, and some amazing ideas can emerge. Eco Together builds on the award-winning Transition Streets project and there have already been two successful pilot groups in Widcombe.

Sara Grimes is a Bath native. She spent the 1990s in the US as a community organiser on environmental issues. Now back in the UK, she has worked in local government on sustainability for the last 13 years and lives in Widcombe with her family.
