Wednesday 19th November, 7:30pm ~ Wharf Room, Widcombe Social Club

Dr Amy Frost, celebrated speaker, historian and senior curator of the Bath Preservation Trust will tell us about how a thriving community was demolished in the 1960s to make way for road schemes and redevelopment. This is a story of lost homes, displaced families in the streets around Claverton St to make way for the A36 road scheme, bus station and later the Southgate shopping centre.

The bar will be open at 7pm, and parking will be available in the Prior Park Garden Centre from 6:45pm.
