Private tour of Westwood Manor, Wiltshire
Friday 1st November 2024 at 2.30pm

WA members have been offered the treat of a personal tour of Westwood Manor near Bradford on Avon by the present inhabitants Mr and Mrs Azis who have lived in the house for 35 years.   This small, intimate 15th century Manor House belonged to Edgar Lister from 1911 until 1956 when he bequeathed the house and all its contents to the National Trust on his death.

It has fine medieval, Tudor and Jacobean features and contains a remarkable collection of furniture and rare musical instruments. There is also a small garden with quirky topiary and a church that you can explore after the tour.  This private tour will allow you to experience the charm and domestic peace of this much loved house for yourselves.  The tour is informal and allows you plenty of time to ask questions.
