CLIMATE AND NATURE SURVEY

Bath and North East Somerset Council is conducting a Climate and Nature Survey and wants resident’s feedback to develop its Climate and Nature Strategy and Action Plans. By sharing your thoughts, you can contribute to a healthier, more sustainable environment for everyone in Bath and North East Somerset. The closing date is 16 June. GO GREEN WIDCOMBE: RETROFITTING EVENT - WEDNESDAY 25 JUNE AT WIDCOMBE SOCIAL CLUB 7 - 9PM

Three talks covering Loft Insulation, Windows and Grant funding. There will be the opportunity to ask questions and an update on the Go Green website development. WIDCOMBE ASSOCIATION ART TRAIL – SATURDAY AND SUNDAY 28/29 JUNE 10.30AM - 5PM

WIDCOMBE ASSOCIATION GARDEN CLUB: GARDEN VISIT - THURSDAY 10 JULY 2 - 5 PM

An afternoon tour of Bath Priory Hotel Garden with the Head Gardener who will show us around the newly modelled gardens. OPERA AT PRIOR PARK COLLEGE – FRIDAY 18 JULY 7.30PM

Another popular annual event is the opera evening and this year, Bath Opera will perform La Traviata. The performance starts at 7.30p.m. but the grounds will be open from 6p.m. for you to enjoy a picnic in the grounds. WIDCOMBE BAKE-OFF AND FEAST - SATURDAY 5 JULY - 7 PM AT WIDCOMBE SOCIAL CLUB

There are still tickets available for the Great Widcombe Bake Off and Feast, being promoted jointly by the WSC and the WA. The delicious food entered for the Bake Off will be judged by Richard Bertinet and form the basis of a three-course feast in the evening followed by music and dancing with Junction 18.
